Tompi, is an Indonesian Singer that was born and raised in the small town of Lhokseumawe, in Aceh, Indonesia. In 1997, for the first time, he left Aceh and moved to Jakarta to pursue his studies at the University of Indonesia to become a Medical Doctor. His hobby in performance arts has been apparent since childhood as he was actively involved in traditional Aceh music and dance performances. Tompi start known as a singer after joining as a vocalist with the Jazz music tends to be ethnic modern group called "Bali Lounge". After forging his personality, Tompi now finally decided to make a solo album in release in July 2005 with the album "T", with the hit song "Selalu Denganmu". since then, Tompi renowned as one of the indonesian top performers with a voice unique and different from the other performers in indonesia.
