NOAH, Born to Make History

NOAH band, is the new name with the old faces. NOAH Band is the new name of the previous name of the band, Peterpan. after the conflict in Peterpan few years ago with the released of two personnel namely Andika and Indra (and then form a band called The Titans) are forced Peterpan name should be replaced with a new name.

After almost 3 years of vacuum and the vocalist, Ariel, was behind the prison because the case happened, then in 2012 they reunited and immediately kicked off the Indonesian music industry with the name NOAH consisting of Ariel, Uki, ​​Lukman, Reza & David.

In order to launch NOAH debut album titled "Seperti Seharusnya" with the single hits Separuh Aku, on 16 September 2012 they performed a concert in 5 countries, 2 continents in one day, entitled "NOAH Born To Make History". five countries are Australia (in Melbourne) and then to the four countries in Asia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia as the home country.

Janet Jackson Brings Tour To Jakarta

Janet Jackson's next stop on her largest ever world tour will be Jakarta. will hit the Indonesian Island on February 9th. Fans voted and submitted their suggestions and Janet will be performing her 35 number ones hits there. Fans submitted suggestions to to have their city selected the winning cities so far have been Singapore on February 7th, Hong Kong on February 14th, and Taipei on February 18th, Manila on February 4th and now Jakarta. The Jakarta show will take place at the Plenary Hall Jakarta Convention Center.

This tour will differ from her previous concert schedules in that she will perform music exclusively from her chart topping CD NUMBER ONES. There will also be a focus on venues that will allow Janet to be up close and personal in a much more intimate setting. In each selected city JANET will offer something different to her performance so no show will be the same. This tour is JANET more revealed, more intimate, and more personal than ever before. Don't look for special effects. Just look at Janet. Tickets will go on sale January 14th.

Janet has expressed her excitement for the upcoming performance in Manila by stating,

"Jakarta is one of the most intriguing places on earth. I am so ready to get there and share the love… The people, the culture, the uniqueness of this magical place excites me and everyone on our tour. Lets Go!”

Janet has also selected the first fan winner of the contest in voting for the cities. The winner will be announced on and they will receive an autographed copy of NUMBER ONES and an autographed copy of her upcoming book "True You" (on stands February 8th). In each of the 35 cities Janet will dedicate one of her number one songs to the city and she will also recognize 20 young people whose lives and work have enriched their communities in a major way. Janet currently stars in Tyler Perry's successful and critically acclaimed motion picture, "For Colored Girls." Janet recently achieved number one iTunes status with her performance of "Nothing," written and produced by her in association with Johnta Austin, Bryan-Michael Cox and Jermaine Dupri for the film "Why Did I Get Married Too?" for which she also starred. The tune is currently an awards contender as best song in a motion picture.

Her upcoming book "True You" is being published by Karen Hunter Publishing, an imprint of Gallery Books at Simon & Schuster will be in stores on February 8th. Janet's first book will reveal her unique, insider's perspective on dieting and exercise-from her past, present and future-with help from her personal nutritionist, David Allen. True You chronicles Janet's lifelong struggles with weight and self-esteem. The book is a self-help/esteem book where Janet will use anecdotes from her real life to illustrate the power of self-esteem and how she struggles and her continued growth as an artist and a woman.

1000 Bands United

Indonesian musicians will demonstrate their solidarity in great music performance titled 1000 Bands United. Event held on December 17 to 19, 2010, at Buperta Pramuka Cibubur, Jakarta, will unite Indonesian musicians who dedicate their best work and all the sales of tickets will be donated to victims of disasters such as floods in Wasior, Tsunami victims in Mentawai Island and victims of Merapi eruption in Yogyakarta.

A number of Indonesia's top bands will participate to enliven 1000 Bands United event such as Slank, d'Masiv, Ungu, Wali, Vierra, J-Rocks, The Changcuters, Geisha, Andra and The Backbone etc. also be enlivened by well-known musicians such as Iwan Fals.
